This Rust Proofing Wax Oil is a water-repellent and has very good penetrating properties and a self-healing finish. The surface to be treated must be clean, dry and free of rust, dirt and grease. Allow subsequent coats to dry in-between. After drying it gives a slightly sticky wax coating which has a good temperature resistance up to 180°C, so it can be used, for example, in engine compartments.
